Are you a keen craft worker?

If you are a potter, weaver, enjoy embriodery or quilting, if you are an artist, or if you create things from wood or metal, etc., have you ever thought of joining a craft guild? Since 1983 we have been bringing together people who enjoy producing their craft to a high standard and wish to sell it at good quality craft fairs.

Although we are based in Farnborough, Hampshire we have members from at least 3 counties, as we are easily accessible by the Blackwater Valley Relief Road (A331), M3, A325 and other main routes.

We meet at 7.45pm on the third Wednesday of each month in the 'Age Concern' Room at The Community Centre, Meudon Avenue, West Mead, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 7LE.

Our varied programme of evening meetings includes talks, demonstrations, 'have a go' nights and social events.

We try to cater for all ages, both sexes and a variety of abilities, whether you are professional or a talented amateur.

We swap information about craft fairs and other outlets, as well as advise on presentation and packaging.

The aims of the Guild are:

  • To promote the skills of crafts people and keep alive the tradition of craftwork.
  • To offer encouragement and advice to all members with the purpose of promoting the highest standards of craftmanship, and for the mutual benefit of all.
  • To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, experience and information.
  • To arrange craft events to further the aforementioned aims.
